So I'm spending the weekend in New Jersey and so far it has been pretty relaxing. I went for a dip in the pool and enjoyed a beautiful view of a local cornfield.  Time seems to slow a bit here...
Time slows so much so that we had some time to make a new clip art set with my FAVORITE THING... ANCHORS!  Check it out here...
If you are decorating your classroom with a nautical theme, these would be cute!  You can easily print, laminate, and cut them out for a quick bulletin board display.  Use on "anchor" charts or have students decorate the black and white one as an "anchor" for their goals for the year.  The students could revisit their goals and create new anchors as the year progresses.  My favorite ones are the holiday-themed anchors!  I am such a sucker for all things Halloween.  If you haven't seen our Halloween Stuff clip art set, you are missing out!  The skeleton is such a cutie pie.
I am excited to use these in a new resource I'll be creating.  A lot of times when I have writer's block with TeachersPayTeachers, I'll buy a new set of clip art and it inspires me to begin again. It's funny how that works.  When it happens, you just have to find ways to get over the hump and create something new.  It may not be the best resource you've ever made, but at least it's a start.  You have to start somewhere. Here are some quotes that have helped to motivate me...

Here's to success!
